Moth inspired nails

I've not done a nail art post for a bit, so I might as well do this one today. I'll start with the story of how I came across this picture...

This is (A late) Halloween

Ah and here it is, my very late Halloween post.

Not my picture, I got it from here.

If you didn't know, Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year and last year (2013) I ended up getting dressed up for 4 separate Halloween events, which I'll be showing you all.

So let's start with the more causal approach to Halloween for work.

They don't really do much for Halloween at work, so this was the most I could really do without getting told off. The devil horn clips were a fun and random buy off eBay and they came in handy for this.

The next one is from when I met up with Charlie.

We decided to have a Halloween themed meet up and it took me ages to find something to wear, but in the end I managed to pull together a cute little witches outfit. It was the first time I had worn the dress or a cape and I'll tell you now, capes are the best! I also found a stick, which became my wand.

It was quite a fun day.

The 3rd one was on Halloween.

I attempted to be Sadako or "that girl from The Ring" as I got from most of the people in my area.

It was the first time I used body paints and I had no idea how to use it, so I got very frustrated when it wasn't going on right, but in the end I used a damp sponge to get it on nice and thick. My outfit was just a hospital gown that I altered to look a little better, but damn it, it was so cold. The wig was so messy and annoying too, but I did managed to scare a lot of adults!

I forgot to get a photo from the last one, but I was a zombie maid, which I did back in 2011, so it's nothing most of you haven't seen before anyway.

Well, that was a long post, but it's finally over now. I hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks for reading.

Colourful sun-shiny day

This is one of my favourite co-ords for the summer, because it's colourful, pratical and is fun, just how it should be and I know it's winter here in England right now, but this is yet another new post with old pictures, so please keep that in mind.

Now I know this picture has dodgy lighting and you can't really see the outfit or the colours properly but I like it so wanted to use it.

It's a warm Saturday afternoon, I've come home from work and want to get out of my uniform. I want to wear something cool but also something I can go out for a walk in too, so what should I wear?

How about this!

*Please ignore the weird face that you can only just see I'm pulling*

Want a quick break down of my outfit? No? Well tough, because here it is...

  • Vest top.
    - Since it's a lovely warm day, a vest top is the best choice. I went for the paint splat one I got from H&M because it's one of my favourite.
  • Denim 3/4.
    - Now my legs aren't always ready for shorts and when it's too warm for pull length trousers/jeans, these are usually the next best thing for me. They're very comfortable and are stretch denim too, which makes them easier to move around in.
  • Accessories.
    - I've got a very colourful Co&Lu belt on, because it goes so well with the vest top. I'm also wear 2 big beaded bracelets and a star necklace. I added the pixel specs just because they're fun to wear and I also have my monster pouch, all of which are from Claire's.
  • Shoes.
    - Not that I took a photo of my feet, but I was just wearing some orange hi-top converse to add even more colour to the outfit.
I also have another photo of me wearing the pixel specs where the lighting is a lot better than the first photo and because I really like both, I might as well add the other one to the post too.

Well anyway, I hope you all enjoyed my post and like my outfit.
That's it from me for now, so as always, thanks for reading.

Pastel Day ~ ☆

It has seriously been a long time since I took photos of this co-ord and I've been meaning to write a post about it for just as long, but I'm just that lazy I never actually got round to doing anything and I'm sorry for that, but it's okay, because I'm finally getting round to it now.

...And as for New Years resolutions go, I will be attempting 2, first to have as many mini adventures as possible this year, mostly cheap or free to save for my big adventure to Florida in September and also I am going to try and  blog more this year.

Let's hope I stick to it, and as always thanks for reading.
