5 Games to Play During Lockdown (For PS4, Vita and Switch)

Hey guys.

Are you staying safe at home but running out of games to play?

Well have no fear, for I am here...

Here to share a list of 5 games, for PS4, Vita and Switch, that I highly recommend you try that is.

Okay so before I start, I’d like to say that the games on the list aren’t exactly child friendly and don’t end up on most lists unless it’s lists like “Questionable Games From Japan” or something along those lines. I have played these games a lot and this list comes from a place of love.

...Now let’s begin...

1. Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed
PS3, PS4 and Vita.

In this game you get to run round Akihabara fighting synthetic vampires, called “Synthisters”. In order to beat a Synthister you must strip them of their clothes, down to their underwear or further, during the fight, but you must be careful because you are also a Synthister. Your job, with the help of your friends, is to keep Akiba safe. The game isn’t just fighting though, as the story goes on, you have choices to make and that will affect the sotry, as well as your friendship levels with the ladies...

Because you can make them fall in love with you, which is an extra perk to the game.

Even though this was the first Akiba's Trip game to be released in the UK, it's actually the 2nd game in the series. That being said, the first game should be coming to PS4 soon, with the title Akiba's Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed. So keep an eye out for that, I know I will be!

There was a "sequal" of sotrts called Akiba's Beat... But... Well... It was a major let down. The mechanics were clunky, the graphics were down-graded and the story was just lacking and that's all I'm going to say about it.

2. The Gal*Gun series
PS4 and Switch

All the Gal*Gun series have very similar premises, an Angel in training made a big oopsie and all the female students and teachers in your school are suddenly obsessed with you and want to confess their love. You have to avoid the confessions by “shooting” them with a pheromone gun or sucking off their clothes. Sounds simple right? Well to complicate things some Demons are also affecting some of the girls, they shout abuse and step on you, with these you’ve to shoot the Demons first.

This is another game where you’ve got to up your friendship with certain characters in order to confess your love to the right girl, and if you choose wrong, you get majorly rejected.

In the UK we have Gal*Gun: Double Peace and Gal*Gun 2, but the first game, Gal*Gun was  only released in Japan for PS3 and XBox 360.

3. The Neptunia series
PS3, PS4, Vita and Switch

These games are set in a world called Gamindustry, which is divided into 4 regions, each region is ruled over by a Goddess, also known as a CPU. We play as Neptune, also known as Goddess Purple Heart, who is the goddess of Planeptune.

Since each game is different, I'm going to talk about 4 Goddesses Online, which is the one I'm currently playing.

In this game, the 4 CPU's gain early access to an online game known as 4 Goddesses Online, or 4GO for short. In the game, the girls have to save Alsgard against the Demon King Jester, with the help of the 4 goddesses, which are based off of the CPU's. As the game goes on, the girls notice a glitch, which makes characters beserk and makes it hard to continue with the story mode. So the girls have to find the problem and help fix it.

Once that problem is sorted, you'd think it was the end of the game, but no, you actually get to finish 4GO stroyline.

I'm so close to finishing it, but at the same time I don't want it to end, it's that good of a game.

4. Gun Gun Pixies
Switch

In this game you are a little alien pixie, called Bee-Tan, who as come to Earth, landing in a girls dorm room in Japan, obviously, and you're job is to scope out your surroundings to find out if it is an acceptable place to live. But Bee-Tan gets caught up in the drama of the 3 girls in the dorm room. Some of your missions evolve around the girls, for example, one of the girls is trying to lose weight, by skipping meals and over exercising.

Bee-Tan gets concerned for the girls health and takes it upon herself to help her out by shooting her with a "happy gun", which helps raise endorphin levels

For most missions you've not to make much noise or been seen as that is a fail, but when the girls are in a manic mode, you don't have to worry about that, but you've to avoid the emotions coming from girls, good and bad, because if you get hit, you slowly lose your clothes.

If successful, you may even get treated to a bath stage, with some well placed bubbles.

The best way to describe this game would half first person shooter and half story, with a strong message about mental health.

5. Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash
PS4

Peach Beach Splash is a game from the Senran Kagura series and is the only one in teh series that I've actully played, so I'm not sure what the others are like.

This game is a third person shooter, with water guns. You choose a team of girls to play as and run round an arena, in WHITE bikinis, shooting the oppossing team with water guns, hose pipes and water bombs and the aim is to soak them that much that their bikinis come off, but be careful because if you lose yours you lose the match.

There is some kind of stroyline going on in the game, but I'm going to be honest with you, I wasn't really paying much attention to it because... Well...

Boobs!

...And now for a honourable mention...

Criminal Girls 2: Party Favours
Vita

In this game you are a prison guard in an all girls prison/dungeon/maze. Your jobs is to lead the girls through the dungeon to the end, where they are set free. They've to fight their way through each level of the prison, but in order to get them to fight for you, you have to "encourage" them by washing them and rubbing certain areas.

The only reason this game just gets an honourable mention is because it was a little... Too much for me and I didn't make it far into the game because having to rub a girls boobs without her concent, in order to get her to fight, justs didn't do it for me.

...So I traded this one in within a month or so of buying it.

Well guys, there you have it, 5 games I'd recommend you try while in lockdown, what do you think? Have you played any of these games? If so, let me know your thoughts, I'd love to discuss these games in more detail with you all.

Anyways, that's all from me for now. Thanks for reading and remember...

Stay home. Stay safe.
